In this episode of The ReRACEables Podcast, host Tom @tribalcouncilblog is joined by Josh and Nicole to recap season 36, episode 3 of The Amazing Race! The race continued this leg from Guatapé, Colombia 🇨🇴 with a rather lack luster episode filled with the teams starting the leg in unannounced groups, taking the stairs up El Peñon de Guatapé, every team was cooking Bendeja Paisa on the street at the Detour except Anthony and Bailey whose brains couldn’t function, and at the Roadblock they were picking cherries 🍒. Nonetheless, we break all this down plus we discuss the viewer’s perspective on how the story of each team is being told, or not told. Plus, we “cross the finish line” with our final thoughts on the team’s accessories like the pop-up raincoat and Bizzy’s 🕶️, Danny’s choice to run the race with his mom, and the need for the race to evolve moving forward. We cover it all from episode 3 on this podcast.
Thanks for watching!

SEASON 36 POWER RANKINGS
Season 36, Episode 3 is in the books and it’s time to lower some scores on the board. We are down to 10 teams with Anthony/Bailey being unable to get their brains going in episode 3 of season 36. They finish in 11th place. With Anthony/Bailey’s elimination, Josh jumps into the lead crossing off his #12 team. Nicole falls to 2nd and Tom to 3rd.
Below is the breakdown of our power rankings. We calculate the rankings by adding up numbers 1-13 (91 total) and as teams are eliminated, we subtract that number from the total score. For example, Tom had Maya/Rohan at #9, Chris/Mary #13, and Anthony/Bailey #5 so we subtract 91-27 and voila, Tom’s score is 64.
